We started with the ice cream. The cups came later.
Moma Jaqs is a neighbourhood scoop shop at 701 Main Street in Agawam, Massachusetts. Soft serve, bubble waffles, halo halo, and a line out the door on warm evenings.
How a scoop shop ended up in the supply business
Running a dessert counter teaches you things no catalogue will. You learn which 4 oz cup buckles when a kid grips it too hard. You learn that a dome lid which does not seat properly will cost you a remake on every third delivery order. You learn that a spoon snapping in half in hard-frozen gelato is not a small problem when there are eleven people waiting.
After enough seasons of ordering, testing, and quietly throwing out the things that did not work, we had a short list of serveware we would actually put our name on. Other shop owners started asking where we got it. So we began stocking it properly and selling it here.
What we stock, and why
The range covers the four things a frozen dessert counter runs through fastest — cups from tasting size up to a full sundae, spoons and straws including the colour-changing ones children request by name, pints and to-go containers for takeaway and freezer stock, and the lids that have to seat on all of it without argument. We also print cups with your own logo, which is the cheapest advertising a small shop will ever buy.
Sized for real counters
From ten-count tubs for a home party through thousand-count cases for a full season. You should not have to buy a pallet to get a fair price.

We are not listing every item a distributor offers. Each product here is one we have used, or one a customer asked us to carry and we then tested.

Where we are
The shop is open seven days a week — Monday through Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday until 9:30, Saturday from 1:00 to 9:30, and Sunday from 1:00 to 8:30. Online orders are packed and dispatched on weekdays from Massachusetts. If you are nearby and would rather collect an order in person, ring (413) 333-2917 and we will set it aside.
We would rather be known for the things we actually control — stock that is on the shelf when you order it, cases that arrive intact, and someone picking up the phone during shop hours. That is the honest reason we are careful about what we put on this site.
