Information we collect from you
When you place an order we take your name, delivery and billing address, email address, and telephone number. Card details are entered directly into our payment provider's secure form; we never see or store the full card number. If you contact us or subscribe to email updates, we hold the message and the address you sent it from.
Information collected automatically
Like most shops online, our site records technical details such as browser type, device, referring page, and which pages you looked at. This comes from cookies and similar technologies and is used to keep the site working and to understand which products people are actually looking for.
Why we use it
Four reasons, and no others: to process and deliver your order; to contact you about that order; to answer support enquiries; and to improve how the shop works. If you have opted in, we also send occasional emails about new stock — every one of those has an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Who else sees it
Our ecommerce platform (Shopify), our payment processors, and the shipping carriers who need an address to deliver your parcel. Each handles data under its own terms. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and cannot be switched off without breaking the site. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and can be refused through your browser settings; refusing them will not stop you ordering.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for as long as US tax and accounting rules require. Marketing contacts are held until you unsubscribe. Support emails are cleared once the matter is closed and no longer needed for a warranty or return.
Your choices
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not legally required to keep it. Email support@momajaqs.com and allow up to 30 days for a full response. Residents of states with specific privacy statutes, including California, have these rights by law and we apply them to everyone regardless of where you live.
Children
This shop sells commercial serveware and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will remove it.
Security
The site runs over encrypted connections and payment data is tokenised by the processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not retain what we do not need, which is the most effective protection available.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new effective date. Material changes affecting existing customers will also be emailed.
