Half a pint, in an unbleached kraft finish. Eight ounces is the size that works when a full pint is more than the customer wants: a single serving to carry home, or a smaller portion sold alongside a larger one. The lids are included, so the container is complete as ordered and nothing has to be matched to it separately.

Two uses come up most often. The first is single servings for takeaway, priced under a pint and often bought as an add-on rather than as the main order. The second is sample packs, where a shop puts three or four flavours together for someone to try at home. Kraft suits both, because it looks intentional unprinted and takes a handwritten label without fighting it.
